The Koru is an iconic symbol of New Zealand and is the Maori name for the delicate unfolding of the fern frond.

It represents new life, new beginnings, growth, strength and perhaps most important of all, peace and tranquility.

The way I work.

I offer short, medium and long term counselling via Zoom from the comfort and convenience of your own home. My approach is warm and down to earth. Everyone deserves peace of mind but it’s a sad fact of life that many of us struggle to attain that and at certain times we could all do with a helping hand.

Many issues confront us as we move through the years such as loneliness, anxiety, jealousy, relationships, family stresses, grief or a crisis of confidence in who we are and where we are heading. Any of these can colour and overshadow our lives.

Koru Counselling’s aim is to help re-establish your balance and assist with movement towards new beginnings. Gaining a deeper understanding of how best to deal with problems that are affecting your well-being is the first step in being able to move forward more freely.

Offering a safe, comfortable and confidential haven, Koru Counselling gives you the opportunity to explore, clarify and gain a greater understanding of your actions, thoughts and feelings which you may not feel able to share with family and friends. Working your way through what is troubling you with the aid of an experienced counsellor can help you find your way back to a more comfortable, peaceful and positive path.

I believe it is vital for you to choose a counsellor who is right for you, and I am more than happy to answer any questions you may have and/or talk about what you feel you need.
